Michael Golden

One of THE storytellers in the industry, influencing generations of comics fans and professionals, Michael Golden boasts creations that are some of the most licensed and enduring in the industry. Co-Creator of Rogue, Bucky O'Hare, Micronauts and "The 'Nam," among much more, Golden is known as one of THE artists on such characters as Batman, Doctor Strange, G.I. Joe and the Punisher. Golden's recent covers can be seen on everything from "Spawn" to the "Walking Dead," to World Wrestling work. Recent covers include works on "The Walking Dead," "Deadpool," and "DareDevil," to name a few. In short, no history of comics is complete without touching on the influence that this legendary artist has had on this industry. Renee Witterstaetter

Writer, editor, colorist and publisher Renee Witterstaetter has acted as editor on such books as "Thanos Quest," "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Hercules," "Xena," "X-Files," "Conan," "She-Hulk," "The Marvel Holiday Special," "Impossible Man Summer Special," "Jurassic Park," and too many books to mention here. As a film professional, she has worked on such movies as "Red Dragon" and "Rush Hour 2," while also behind the scenes, racking up credits on dozens of music videos and commercials for artists as diverse as Madonna, Seal and Usher. Kanila Tripp

Kanila Tripp is an artist, illustrator and educator from Kailua, Hawaii.  He has a degree in Art History and has been an educator since 2008.  He makes comics, paints, and creates illustrations both in traditional and digital media.

His comics work includes working as a coloring manager for DC Comics and as a senior colorist at Hi-Fi Design.  Kanila has worked on numerous titles for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Image Comics and many other Publishers and Clients.  Kanila has also exhibited at the Shangri-La Museum of Islamic Arts as a part of it’s 8x8_shangrila_22 exhibition.

In 2017, Kanila founded Coffee Shop Comics. Coffeeshop Comics is a small publisher of comics and tabletop game content. He is currently developing a number of titles and RPG game products. Visit www.coffeeshopcomics.net to learn more about this venture.

Jon J Murakami

Jon J. Murakami is a freelance cartoonist from O‘ahu, Hawai‘i. He's best known for creating humorous Local Kine greeting cards and regular comic strips like Calabash and Generation Gap. He's also illustrated several Hawaiian children's books and self-published comic books like Gordon Rider and Adventures with Zori. Anh Vu

From being a graduate in Cybersecurity to a new up-and-coming comic artist, Anh Vu is making strides with Indie Comic Publishers. Born and raised in Vietnam, Anh’s early life has taken her across Asia to Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. She now resides in Hawaii. Professionally, Anh has entered the comic industry since 2018. Anh has just recently been published as a cover artist for Totally Rad Comic and and interior artist for Mayhem Production . Currently, she is on schedule to have more covers done with independent publishers like Onrie Kompan, Philbo Entertainment Production, and Jacob Stem to name a few. Anh works traditionally and predominantly with graphites, acrylic, ink and gouache. With a love for epic fantasy, Anh strives to one day produce her own illustrative stories.
